Who is i-Moraira?
i-Moraira is a holiday rental agency based in Moraira on the Spanish Costa Blanca. Our activities started out of our real estate agency, when owners of recently purchased villas asked us to organise the holiday rentals for them. i-Moraira mediates between landlords and tenants. Our team offers personal guidance to the tenants in various different languages with the purpose of creating the perfect holiday.
What does i-Moraira offer, and where?
i-Moraira rents luxury villas with (mostly) a private pool in and around Moraira on the Costa Blanca in Spain.
Where does i-Moraira find its accommodations?
Due to our real estate roots, most of the holiday homes on our site were sold through our intermediation. The new owners asked us to take care of the holiday letting as their agent. Recently other owners have found their way to us and requested we provide the same holiday rental services. Needless to day i-Moraira selects its accommodations and partners with care.
Why rent a villa?
Renting a villa offers you the opportunity to go on holiday together with your family, group of friends, multiple families or as multiple couples. The villa you choose very often has its own private pool and garden or other surroundings. This allows you to cook or barbecue on your vacation or instead to make use of the cooking service and many other services and treat yourself. Freedom, and the option to not have to keep an eye on the time is part of your holiday, after all, as you don’t have any fixed times for breakfast or dinner. Renting a holiday home is often cheaper per person per night than a hotel.
How do I book?
A large number of our holiday homes can be booked online 24/7 on our website by clicking on the green button ‘Book now’ on the details page of the holiday home.If the villa is available on request (in this case the calendar will not be displayed or will be orange), you can get more information by clicking on the ‘Availability’ button. If you do not want to book online, you can also make your booking by telephone during business hours or contact us via the contact form, where we will respond to your request as soon as possible.
What is an option?
With an option the holiday home is held for you free and without obligation for a few days. This gives you time to calmly consult with family or friends or to find appropriate flights. This is normally an option for 2 to 3 days, depending on the destination.
How do I know if the holiday home is available?
Nearly every accommodation has its own availability calendar where you can see whether the holiday home is available on your desired dates. For an explanation of the colours, check the colour scheme at the top of the calendar. If the accommodation does not have a availability calendar, this is very likely on request of the manager or the owner, or the accommodation may be part of a larger group. In this case, you can check availability through us by clicking on the ‘Availability’ button. Of course you can also consult availability by contacting us by telephone, e-mail or via the contact form.
Why do I see the same accommodations several times in the list for a different number of people?
Some accommodations can be rented at different rates depending on the number of guests. When you book a larger accommodation for only 4 people then you book the entire accommodation, but it is possible that the unused bedrooms are locked. It is therefore wise to indicate before arrival how many bedrooms you want to use.The accommodations have been published several times on the website for a different number of people to make them appear in searches from 4 to 6 people. Many owners of large accommodations accept bookings for fewer people at a reduced rate.
What is the total price of a Holiday home?
If you've searched with arrival' and departure dates the rental price will automatically be displayed, this will be the rent along with any mandatory additional charges for the chosen duration.If you want to calculate the price for a different period, please go back to the availability calendar to select or enter the dates you require. All prices include mandatory additional charges; optional extras that can be booked along with the accommodation. Any possible discounts can be found under the tab ‘Rates’ in the individual accommodation description.
In some cases, it may occur that a holiday home has no calendar, where can you find the availability and calculate the price?
If a holiday home does not have a calendar, this is very likely on request of the owner. In this case, you can check availability through us by clicking on the ‘Availability’ button. Of course you can also consult availability or prices by contacting us by telephone, e-mail or via the contact form.
What is the payment process with i-Moraira?
First and foremost: i-Moraira does not take your money upon reservation. You pay directly into the account of the landlord, and can do so by credit card(*) or by bank transfer. If you book online you get to the payment screen where you can make your payment directly. After booking you will receive a confirmation email with the reservation form. On the reservation form you can see exactly what the rental fee consists of and the amount you must pay and when. (*)all charges incurred by paying by creditcard through Paypal are for the tenant's account.
When is payment required?
A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance of the rent must be paid no later than four weeks before arrival. An amount of cash upon arrival (as part of the total price) may be requested to be paid upon arrival. Please refer to your reservation form for details and exact dates on which payment must be made.
What currencies do you accept?
Principally the advertising landlord only accepts Euros. However it might occur that UK based tenants can pay in Pounds Sterling to an UK based landlord.
Are there any additional charges?
Any additional charges will always be stated on the reservation form. Some additional charges depend on the services that you want to make use of, for example, placing a cot or allowing a pet in the property.
Can I cancel a booking?
Cancelling a booking always incurs a cancellation fee. Please consult our Payment and Cancellation Policy attached to the reservation form. You can cancel a booking by phone or email.
Where can I find the booking conditions?
The General Terms and Conditions can be found here. Also, at the footer of our website and in the header menu you can find the link to said conditions.
When will I receive my rental agreement?
You will receive the rental agreement by email once we have received payment of the remaining amount and no later than four weeks prior to your arrival date.

Who is my person of contact on location?
On your voucher - which you will receive from us prior to your arrival date, you will find information regarding the i-Moraira teammembers who will be available to help you at all times.
In what languages can I communicate with i-Moraira?
You can contact i-Moraira with any questions in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Please note, however, that your local i-Moraira teammember may not always speak your language and you will thus have to communicate with them in English for example.
Who can I contact with any questions or problems during our stay?
For questions or problems during your stay please contact the i-Moraira teammembers you met when you arrived at the rented villa. They will be happy to help you with anything.
How can I submit a complaint?
Of course we hope that you will experience a carefree holiday in the holiday villa you rented though our mediation. But if you unexpectedly encounter a fault or defect at your destination you should report this to the i-Moraira teammembers you met when you arrived at the rented villa. This will give us the opportunity to resolve the complaint.
Why are some holiday homes online multiple times?
Holiday homes can be offered in various different ways, for example with a different price based on the number of people the accommodation will actually occupy, or with weekly rates versus monthly rates for longer term rentals. A resort may also consist of several similar villas or apartments. Important to know however: During your stay the rented holiday home will not be occupied at any time by anyone other than you and your fellow travelers.
Will the holiday home be occupied by the owner or another family during our holiday?
No, at no point will the holiday home you rented, be occupied simultaneously by others or by the owner; you always have the holiday home entirely to yourself and your fellow travelers.
What does ‘only the ground floor is rented out’ mean?
This means that the holiday home consists of several floors but that your booking only applies to rental of the ground floor. The other floor (s) will be closed during your stay and are not available to you, for example because they are for private use; however, at no time will the owner be present during your stay.
Are the photos realistic?
‘What you see is what you get’ is our motto, we therefore try to make sure our photos are as realistic as possible. You may therefore assume that the villa you see in the photos is the holiday home is that you are booking or have already booked. The owners may of course renovate the interior of a home, or the sofa may be different from what you have seen on the photos. We try at all times to keep the images as current as possible, as we know how important this is for you.
Can I rent out my own holiday home via i-Moraira?
Yes, we are always looking for high-quality holiday homes in- or around Moraira. If you are a manager or home-owner in this region and want to rent out your accommodations through i-Moraira, please contact us! i-Moraira is always looking to expand its coverage through cooperation with local partners. If you are a company with villas, apartments or the owner of a resort, please contact us, we will gladly discuss the possibilities with you!
Can I offer i-Moraira Holiday homes on my own website?
We are always open to collaborations with letting agents and travel agencies.
